Significant Productions, Inc. was organized in the state of Florida as a not-for-profit corporation and is a tax exempt public charity as described in sections 501(c)(3) and 170 of the Internal Revenue Code.
Art, Artists, Audience
Significant Productions, or SigPro, was founded by Whitney Morse and Jason Goedken in late 2022. Whitney and Jason both have significant experience in all aspects of theatre production and have learned a variety of practices at traditional theatre companies. They strongly believe that theatre can be a place that creates great artistic performances while being an inclusive place for artists and employees. Specifically, a community where individuals thrive and can contribute to creating its culture. Whitney and Jason are committed to making SigPro a welcoming place with positive energy for the community, artists, employees, and you.
Our Mission: SigPro cultivates a diverse collaborative community with a focus on artists’ well-being that strives to provoke thought and spark conversation through high quality performing arts.
When things go right, we take the praise, and when we things go wrong, we take the lesson. We take responsibility for individual and organizational actions, inactions, and outcomes. We meet our commitments, and we deliver on our mission for our community. We are only in competition with ourselves from yesterday, and we endeavor never to make the same mistake the same way twice.
Since our earliest history, people have been bound together by their shared experiences. As time passed, those experiences became stories told to entertain, instruct, and help us remember where we come from. As storytellers ourselves, we believe that even communities that seem very different can find common ground when they experience each other's stories. We are committed to including and representing diverse perspectives equally.
One of the great joys of humanity is that we are all human, and experience life through different lenses -- lenses of national or cultural origin, economic opportunity, health, political ideology, religious belief, gender and sexual preferences, and more. We are an organization that leads with empathy and care in our interactions with our employees, volunteers, partners, patrons, donors, and community.
We aren’t content with the way things have always been, and we have no use for the status quo. SigPro creates the future for our art, artists, and audiences one project at a time. And we aim to change more than just what can be readily seen. From setting new standards for the way actors, designers, and technicians should be treated to leveraging new technologies and refreshing old ones, to, we innovate the future daily.
We are committed to upholding our mission at all costs, without compromising our integrity. We are grateful for the generosity of our donors and strive to be an organization that is worthy of trust and confidence. We maintain honesty and transparency surrounding our business and artistic practices and motives. In matters great and small, we are impeccable with our word.
